Somezing

Somezing is the AI platform behind every Verge product. It runs the AI in WebHR, HireSide and PayDay, and outside companies use it too, with AI agents that automate work across 100+ apps.

why we built it

In 2024 every one of our products needed AI. If each product built its own, every team would solve the same problems again: which models to use, how agents reach the product's data, and how to keep all of it secure. And each product would do it differently.

So we decided to build it once. One platform holds the models, tools, guardrails and monitoring, and every product builds its AI features on top of it.

what I did

• Left my other work to build it, working directly with the founder and CTO.
• Designed the architecture for multi-agent systems, shared by WebHR, HireSide, PayDay and every other Verge product.
• Gave each product its own internal MCP server, then built AI agents on top of them, with security handled in the platform, not left to each agent.
• Took it beyond our own products to outside clients, including AI agents that serve a bank's customers on WhatsApp.
• Lead the team that builds and runs it.

what it made possible

Every Verge product can now be used in plain text. Ask a question and get the answer, or ask the agent to do the work, without clicking through screens.

New AI products also ship much faster, because the hard parts are already built. Verge is now launching more AI products on top of Somezing. I'll list each one here once it's public.
