toolo.dev
why I built it
While building software, I kept needing small tools: encode or decode a string, format some JSON, decode a JWT. Every time, I searched the web and landed on sites full of ads and heavy pages, just to do a few seconds of work.
So I built my own and made it free for everyone. toolo.dev is the toolbox I wanted: open a tool, paste your input, get the result, copy it and get back to work.
what's there
About 30 tools so far: Base64 and URL encoding, JSON formatting and validation, JSON to YAML and back, JWT decoding, hashing and encryption, a regex tester, a cron expression generator, CSS, JavaScript and HTML minifiers, fake and sample data, and more.
how it's built
- One simple page per tool. No heavy UI, no ads, no sign-up.
- Designed, built and shipped on my own, with Next.js.
what's next
More tools are coming. I'll post updates here as they ship.
